Privacy

We built this blog to collect as little as possible. Everything we do collect stays on Vajra’s own servers.

Reading statistics

We count page views, how far articles are read, and clicks on our own buttons, so we know which articles help people. We don’t use cookies or browser storage for this, and we never store your IP address.

To count unique visitors, we combine your IP address and browser type with a secret that changes every day, and keep only the resulting code. The secret is thrown away daily, so visits on different days can’t be linked to each other or to you.

Country is looked up offline from the IP address at the moment of the visit, using IP Geolocation by DB-IP. Only the country is kept.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address, the date you subscribed, the article you subscribed from, and the consent wording you agreed to. We use it only to send you new articles. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send.
